Genetic Testing

If you are dealing with a condition like depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), or chronic pain, one of the most important questions to answer is,

“What’s the right treatment for me?”

We all have a unique set of genes that affects how our body responds to certain medications.

Pharmacogenomics looks at how your unique genetic makeup can affect your response to medications, and help your clinician find the medications that may be right for you.

GeneSight®: A Simple Process With Fast Results

GeneSight is a pharmacogenomic technology that uses a cheek swab to uncover clinically important differences in your genetic makeup. Currently, there are 3 GeneSight tests available:

GeneSight Psychotropic

This test helps clinicians select medications commonly prescribed to treat behavioral health conditions, such as depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, and bipolar disorder.

GeneSight ADHD

This test helps clinicians select medications commonly prescribed to treat ADHD.

GeneSight Analgesic

This test helps clinicians select medications commonly prescribed to treat chronic pain.

Clinicians may use information from these tests, combined with their medical expertise, to support the selection of an appropriate treatment plan for each patient.
